KS1 OEM

The successful KS1 OEMs will be experts who are required to provide an independent assessment on the moderation activities of LAs, and provide STA with information about the consistency and accuracy of moderation procedures in relation to national standards.

STA are looking for associates that have a good understanding of KS1 teacher assessment and LA KS1 moderation. Experience in these areas is likely to come from an LA or a classroom background, working as an LA moderator, moderation manager or a teacher.

The role(s) will be for a select number of days within a 5-month period (a payment schedule is shown in the pricing section). Applicants would need to be available from 5 March to 31 July 2018 and can be undertaken alongside a full-time position in a school or LA for example. Successful applicants will be asked if they have any connections with any LAs which may be seen as a conflict of interest.
