CP1087-14 For the supply of E-books

Devon County Council currently operate 54 libraries serving a population of 750,000 and wishes to continue offering an eBook service including provision of an e-book and audio-book service, with the possibility for provision of music and video also.

This contract will result a provider supplying an e-book and audio book service to the library service enabling users accesibility from home. eBooks will be borrowed virtually by library members and read/listened to on the widest possible range of players and mobile devices.

The service will offer a wide range of items through a customer-friendly portal and format, providing also after-sales support to both library staff and customers.
