The Councils Risk Management and Insurance Programme covers both Council services and Schools. The Council is undertaking a fundamental review of its insurance programme and may change the mix of self-insurance and external insurance cover it procures. Options in this regard have been included in the ITPD document. The Council wishes to arrange insurance protection which offers the best value for money. This will be established by providing a comprehensive technical specification to selected prospective bidders to which to quote against..
