Schools and corporate sites waste and recycling collection service

West Berkshire Council are seeking a waste management provider for the council's corporate sites and schools with more than 70 sites in total. The council wishes to contract with a provider who is flexible in their approach in order to facilitate local contract administration being carried out directly by schools with contract management responsibilities remaining with the council.

The council is keen to engage with the market and will be hosting an in-person pre procurement market engagement event at:

10.00am till 12:00 on Monday 3rd July

at Shaw House in Newbury.

The purpose of the event is to:

• Raise awareness of the forthcoming procurement opportunity
• Understand market capacity and interest
• Give an overview of the council's requirements, timelines and proposed process
• Seek feedback from the market
