The Provision of Catering Services for a number of ERDF funded projects at University of Leicester.

Whilst the University has an in-house catering provision, we are not permitted to use this service for the following projects;

•Leicester Innovation Accelerator (LIA)

•Space Technologies Applications from Research Accelerator (STAR) •Leicester Life Sciences Accelerator (LLSA)

•Space Innovation Accelerator (SIA)

These projects are partly funded by a European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) grant award.

Due to the above, we are engaging external services for our requirements of catering for a wide range of visitors who will be attending meetings, seminars and events. Currently, this includes the ability to order small amounts at short notice with the facility to access their menus on line.

The Projects require a range of catering to include beverages and snacks for meetings, light lunches and buffets for groups from 4 - 80 people. The supplier(s) must also be able to provide crockery, glassware and cutlery.

Up to 3 suppliers will be offered a place on the framework with an expected start date of 1st January 2021.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
