John Rankin Infant School Roof Refurbishment

The existing roof at John Rankin Infant School is beyond its original service life with deflections and pooling across the roof. There is debris and foliage across the surface which will require clearance before works can commence. The roof drains from external gutters and these will need replacing and repositioned along the fascia boards. Roof lights are out of date and will also require replacement. Temporary veranda is considered to be fragile.

Requirements as follows:

• oStrip existing debris and waterproof system
• oInstall waterproofing system and insulation
• oReplacement roof lights
• oFlashing and trim to abutments and perimeter edges
• oRaise cavity trays as required to accommodate new insulation
• oRaise cladding as required
• oReplace guttering and fascias as required
