TD0886 - Provision of Alternative Education

Kingsmead School has a statutory duty to make arrangements for the provision of appropriate education otherwise than at school, for children of compulsory school age who, by reason of exclusion from school or otherwise, will not receive a suitable education without these arrangements. Tenders are invited from suitable organisations for the supply of services in respect of Alternative Education Provision for Kingsmead School. Lots are as follows: Lot 1: Administration, Business and Enterprise Lot 2: Animal Care Lot 3: Arts Lot 4: Catering Lot 5: Child care Lot 6: Construction Lot 7: Core Subjects Lot 8: Dance Lot 9: EAL (English as an Additional Language) Lot 10: Engineering Lot 11: Fishing Lot 12: Hospitality and Catering Lot 13: Land Based/ Horticulture Studies Lot 14: Motor Vehicle Lot 15: Music and Digital Media Lot 16: Outdoor Education Lot 17: Personal Development and Progression Lot 18: Retail and Customer Service Lot 19: Sports Lot 20: Virtual Learning Lot 21: Other Contracts will be awarded either by direct call-off from the relevant Lot or through further competition. Tenderers may bid for one or more Lots. The contract will start on 7th September 2015 and will continue for one academic year. There is the option to extend for a further two academic years in one year increments, subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement.
