description

Oxfordshire County Council has a requirement for Arboricultural Services. There are over 2500 miles of public highway infrastructure within Oxfordshire, much of which is tree lined. To enable the County Council to undertake remedial tree works (that form part of its statutory responsibilities as both the Local Highways Authority and a property owner/manager) in a competent and safe manner, the County Council requires a number of specialist and non-specialist contractors to assist with the delivery of tree works that are identified by the County Council’s Tree Team.

The County Council's requirements are separated into two Lots:

Lot 1 - Specialist Arboricultural Works Lot 2 - Non-specialist Arboricultural Works

Service Providers are invited to submit tenders for the provision of the requirement described above. The contract is for an initial period of 2 years with an option for the Council to extend for up to a maximum of 2 years in aggregate. The start date for the contract is envisaged as 28 November 2016.
