Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of the following work items:

i)Establishment and maintenance of signal controlled lane closures.
ii)Establishment and maintenance of subway closures and pedestrian diversions.
iii)Provision of access scaffolding and MEWPs.
iv)Minor vegetation clearance.
v)Breaking out of structural concrete and reinstatement.
vi)Replacement of joint sealants.
vii)Minor drainage works.
viii)Replacement of bridge parapets and VRS.
ix)Minor maintenance to existing bridge parapets.
x)Footpath surfacing.
xi)Painting of concrete surfaces.
xii)Concrete repairs.
xiii)Construction of concrete bagwork headwalls.
xiv)Maintenance to reno-mattresses.

Project Description

The Bridge Backlog Maintenance 2014/15 (Package 2) contract comprises minor maintenance at 7 bridges within the Borough of Swindon.

Full details relating to the Works are provided in the tender documents.

Contract Period

The contract will be initially for a period of 7 weeks commencing 4th April 2016.

The relevant tender documents are included within this project webpage as attachments.

Tender Responses are required to be submitted no later than 8th February 2016, 14.00GMT by hardcopy to Swindon Borough Council only (refer to the Invitation to Tender document)
