WCC - Collection and disposal of clinical waste 2016

Warwickshire County Council is seeking to appoint a Contractor for the collection and disposal of Clinical waste from Household Waste Recycling Centres and Waste Transfer Stations in Warwickshire.

Additional information: Warwickshire County Council will be using its e-tendering system (CSW-JETS) for the administration of this procurement process. Providers must register with the system (if they haven’t previously done so) in order to be able to express an interest in the project and download documents. All correspondence or clarifications relating to this procurement must be submitted via the CSW-JETS correspondence function.

Delivery Notes

These requirements cover the container provision, collection and disposal of Clinical Waste from Warwickshire County Council (WCC) Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs)/ Waste Transfer Stations (WTS).

The initial contract term will be 3 years however the Authority reserves the right to extend the contract by further periods not exceeding 24 months [24 being the maximum available extension period].

The ITT has been issued using the Authority’s E-tendering portal, and the whole procurement process will be managed using this system. To ensure that all system generated e mail notifications reach your e mail in box you are advised to add the E Mail domain @in-tend.co.uk to your list of safe senders and check your spam filter settings.
