Sports Surfaces

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is an indication of potential future procurement activity and may be subject to change. This notice makes no commitment to procure any services. This PIN is not part of any pre-qualification or selection process.

In order to understand the opportunities available in the marketplace, Great Baddow Parish Council (The Council) invites potential suppliers to express an interest and to discuss outline proposals to provide the maintenance of the sports surfaces in the Recreation Ground in Great Baddow.

The sports surfaces in the Recreation Ground consist of a cricket pitch (in the Summer season), a bowling green (county and club standard), football (in the Winter season) and both grass and hard tennis courts. The maintenance will also include the marking out of all surfaces.

Spraying will be required and a suitably qualified person will be needed to carry out this work.

The length of any contract is not yet decided but initial indications are that it will be for 3 years.
